Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler

"Radon protection is health protection. As the responsible minister, an active role in radon protection is particularly important to me. With the Radon Protection Ordinance, we have created the legal framework for protection against excessive radon exposure at the workplace and in the home. On my behalf, the Radon Competence Centre coordinates all radon activities in Austria and, among other things, manages the website radon.gv.at, where news and everything worth knowing about radon is available.
