The Radon Competence Center is the central point of contact for all concerns and questions relating to radon in Austria.

Our core tasks are activities to implement the national radon action plan with the aim of protecting the Austrian population from the negative health effects of radon.

The Radon Expert Center was founded in 2006 and acts on behalf of the BMLUK (Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management).

Radon prevention is health care and therefore a multidisciplinary field. We are committed to efficient and sustainable radon prevention and protection measures!
