The event provided an overview of the topics of radon protection, effects on health, free radon measurement for private individuals, radon protection in the workplace, precautionary measures for new buildings and funding opportunities from the Upper Austrian state government.

Many interested visitors at the information event

The event was very well attended and there was a lively exchange on the topic of radon. After the presentations, questions from the participants were answered. In the course of the event, the multimedia radon house was also made available for three weeks in the town of Bad Leonfelden in the public building of the tourist information office to enable a further exchange of information
on the topic of radon on site.

The organizers of the information evening were: Region Sterngartl Gusental, Amt der OÖ. Landesregierung
and the Austrian Radon Office.
