18.06.2024: Radon information evening - Sterngartl Gusenthal region (Upper Austria)

Eleven municipalities in the Sterngartl Gusental region are designated as radon protection areas, which means that precautionary measures must be taken for new buildings and employers must arrange for radon measurements to be taken. As part of the event, an overview was given of radon protection, protection in the workplace and funding opportunities.

24.05.2024: Long Night of Research - Radon information stand, BMK, Vienna (A)

The Long Night of Research attracted many interested visitors to the site of the Radiation Protection Division at the BMK in Vienna. The Radon Department took part in the Long Night of Research with a focus on the topic: What exactly is radon? A varied program of events inspired the participants.

12.03.2024: Bavarian Radon Network Meeting in Augsburg (DE)

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, the Bavarian Radon Network Meeting took place at the LfU in Augsburg (D). The Bavarian Radon Network Meeting 2024 was held under the motto "experience and learn". The main focus was on the reunion of the radon community, exchange and networking.

03.01.2024: Radon information event - Municipality of Kaltenberg (Upper Austria)

The Radon Advisory Service informed interested citizens at an information evening in the municipality of Kaltenberg. The representatives of the Radon Advisory Service were delighted with the well-attended event. Around 80 people attended the evening to find out more about radon and its health effects.
